PANJIM: Mother of Mercy, Vasco and Mahila Nutan HS romped into the semi-finals of 14th Mukund Trikannad memorial all-Goa inter-school cricket tournament organized by Margao Cricket Club, in Margao.
Mother of Mercy overcame Rosary HS Navelim by six wickets.
Rosary HS 61/10 in 19.1 overs. Imran Mulla 23, Sourabh Mishra 16. Saheel Sharma 2/10, Pravin Khargekar, Maruti Huggi, Siddharth Naik and Avinash Paswan took one wicket each.
In reply, Mother of Mercy scored 62/4 in 11.3 overs. Maruti Huggi 24 not out, Yogesh Naik 16. Ajay Sharma 3/15, Nitesh Sambhaji 1/14.
In another match, Mahila Nutan Margao hammered Anjuman HS, Vasco by eight wickets. Manju Rathod 20, Karim Shaikh 16. Ashwin Faldessai 4/6, Nihal Surlakar 4/11.
In reply, Mahila Nutan scored 77/2 in 12.1 overs. Suyash Prabhudessai 32 not out, Shivam Amonkar 12, Siddhant Salunke 11 not out. Dheeraj Yadav 2/18.
