MAYEM, OCT 19
Nana Brothers, Tikhazan, Mayem defeated Math XI, Mayem 3-0 to win the late Mayuri Sawant football trophy at Gaonkarwada Mayem ground on Tuesday.
The winners took home a trophy and Rs 3,000 while the runners-up had to be content with Rs 2,000 and a trophy.
Prizes were distributed by Mayem sarpanch, Nilkanth Nagvekar, panchas, Tulshidas Chodankar, Kajal Karbotkar, Sanjay Arondekar, Laxman Sawant, Santoshkumar Sawant and social worker Vassudev Gaonkar.
