PANJIM: GFDC Navelim will face GFDC Dona Paula in the final of GFDC Rising Stars Football Festival U-13 girls category scheduled to be held next month.
In the semi-final, GFDC Navelim beat GFDC Utorda, 3-2 via tie breaker at Assolna ground. Vienna opened the score for Utorda in the 4th minute and Paloma scored the equaliser.
Crossing over they continued to pile on the pressure as the half progressed in a bid to score more goals.
At the end of regulation time the score was 1-1 and hence tie breaker was applied.
GFDC Navelim converted through Paloma and Velanda. While GFDC Utorda converted through Vinoshka.
In the second semis, GFDC Dona Paula beat GFDC Arambol by a solitary goal. The lone goal was scored by Maria Hussain.
