UTORDA: Our Lady of Gloria Sports Club Raia beat Betalbatim Sports Club 3-1 to advance in All Goa 25th Lourdes Festival Soccer, organised by United Club of Utorda in association with SAG Panjim, in memory of late Polly Rodrigues, at Utorda ground, on Sunday.
Raia dominated the first half. Melvin of Raia missed a sitter in the 6th minute.
Crossing over Allwyn Dias for Gloria drew the first blood in the 43rd minute. Lloyd Cardozo increased the tally for Gloria in the 46 minute after receiving a beautiful pass from Danny Fernandes.
Liston Cardozo pumped the third goal for Gloria by deft placement in the 65th minute. In the dying minutes, Dylan Rodrigues of Betalbatim reduced the margin.
