MARGAO: Our Lady of Health HS, Cuncolim prevailed over Saviour of World HS, Loutolim 6-5 via the tie-breaker to storm into the second round of All-Goa Alvernaz and Lalush Alemao under-14 football at church ground, Chinchinim, Friday. The teams were tied 2-2 at full time.
Saviour of the World took the lead in the 10th minute through Bores Andrade.
Spurred by the early success, Saviour of the World intensified their forays and striker Bores struck for the second time.
Our Lady of Health’s reduced the deficit through Ashwin Fernandes. He scored again to restore parity.
In the ensuing tie-breaker, Ashwin, Akash, Jaison and Arlito were on target for Our Lady of Health while Brison, Doyel and Jaison converted for Saviour of the World.
