MARGAO: Perpetual Succour Convent HS, Navelim will clash with Our Lady of Rosary HS, Fatorda in the finals of Salcete Taluka under-17 girls Nehru Cup hockey tournament organized by DSYA at Government multipurpose ground, Borda, here, on Friday
In the first semi-finals, Perpetual Succour trounced King’s School, Sao Jose de Areal 4-0. Lenesha Simoes scored a brace while Emelia Rebello accounted one for her team. King’s School Laquisha scored an own-goal.
OL of Rosary HS, Fatorda overcame St Joseph Educational Institute, Chandor 1-0 in the second semi-finals. Akshata Patil scored the all-important goal for the winners.
