PANJIM: The late Lt Cdr Gopal Sakharam Sukthankar Memorial Open Rapid Fide Rating Chess Tournament 2023, will be held on October 28 and 29, at the Institute Menenzes Braganza Hall, Panjim. The tournament is organised by Mushtifund High School Parents Teacher Association under the auspices of Tiswadi Taluka Chess Association in aegis with Goa Chess Association and All India Chess Federation. Cash prizes worth Rs 60000 and trophies in age Group 3 in each category U-7, U-9, U-11, U-13, U-15 open & girls 1 above 40 will be awarded.
