Naughty Boys of Padribhat defeated United Boys of Nessai 2-0 to emerge champions in Sao Jose de Areal interward football tournament organised by Cottu Boys at Padribhat Grounds, Sao Jose de Areal on Sunday. There was no score at half time.
The teams displayed attacking football and kept the Sunday crowd on their toes.
Crossing over, Naughty Boys put up an improved display and went all out in search of a goal. Their efforts bore fruits when Fredrick Endro bulged the net from close.
Spurred on by success, Naughty Boys swelled the lead when Polly Valadares’ snap shot beat the rival goalkeeper.
Naughty Boys bagged Rs 7,000 while United Boys of Nessai received Rs 5,000.

Aleixo Reginald Lourenco, MLA was the chief guest and gave away the prizes.
