CURTORIM: Panchawadi USC thrashed Amaravati SC 5-0 in the GFA Air Arabia U-18 League played at Curtorim ground, on Friday.
Jayson Costa scored the first, in the 10th minute with a neat finish into the post while Kevin Fernandes doubled the winners lead in the 37th minute.
In the second half, nothing stopped the Panchawadi side as they tore open the opponents’ defense and scored three goals.
Imson Fernandes scored a brace while Lawren Fernandes netted a goal to help the Panchawadi side display a five star performance against the Amaravati side.
In another match played at Artificial turf, Fatorda, Snows FA demolished Velsao Sports and Cultural Club 9-0.
Josico Fernandes scored the first goal in the 2nd minute itself giving the Snows FA a good start.
Irfan Yadwad scored a quick brace within a span of ten minutes. Travis D’Souza made it 4-0 in the 33rd minute while Adriano Colado scored the Snows fifth goal as they led 5-0 at half time.
In the second half, nothing seemed to have been stopping Snows team, as Irfan Yadwad scored four goals in the second half, as the Snows FA walked home with a comfortable 9-0 win over the Velsao side.
