Panjim Footballers protest against CB

PANJIM: Panjim Footballers have filed a protest against Churchull Brothers Sports Club for not complying with the U-20 rule in their Goa Professional League match against Panjim Footballers on January 28 played at Rosary ground, Navelim.
The Panjim based club in their letter addressing to GFA President Churchill Alemao dated January 29, stated that Churchill Brothers had failed to play their U-20 players for the entire match.
“Churchill brothers were suppose to play U20 players for 90 minutes which they didn’t and both the players were substituted before they could complete their playing time,” stated Panjim Footballers representative Anthony Vaz in his letter to Herald. “Therefore, as per the rules the match should be awarded in favour of Panjim footballers,” stated the complaint letter.
