VARCA: Pedda A blanked Laxette 4-0 to move into the quarter-finals of the 2nd Varca Panchayat Cup inter-ward football tournament organised by Varca panchayat, at Varca Sports Club ground, on Saturday.
Aaron netted a brace for Pedda in the fifth and 12th minute. Jobern made it 3-0 in the 26th minute.
Ten minutes later, Magen made it 4-0.
Laxette through Agnelo and Sanford should have netted in the 38th and 42nd minutes respectively but the Pedda keeper was equal to the task.
