Hosts Peddem Bomm, Anjuna defeated Club Sao Minguel Taleigao 3-1 in the Peddem Bomm Cup 9-a-side inter-village football tournament at Peddem Bomm ground on Thursday.  Peddem Bomm led 1-0 at half  time.
  Peddem Bomm took the lead through Francis Rosario.  Taleigao boys tried their best to restore parity but their forwards were unable to find the net.
  Changing over, Peddem Bomm kept up the tempo and scored again in the 5th minute through Ligorio Noronha (Lazarus) to give his team a 2-0 lead. 
Taleigao raised their game and succeeded in pulling one back through Cedrick Pixeito to make it 2-1.  Lazarus then rounded off the tally in the dying minutes to give his team a deserving 3-1 win over Club Sao Minguel, Taleigao.
