PANJIM: Pratush Kenkre and Jayden Gomes clinched double crowns in the All Goa Ramnath Volvotkar memorial table tennis tournament organized by ‘Insight’, the Society for Sports, Culture, Youth Affairs and Charity, Gudi-Paroda at Damodar Higher Secondary School hall, recently. Pratush bagged the boys cadet singles and doubles title while Jaden Gomes emerged winners in sub-juniors boys singles and doubles event.
Aalaya Arora, Janvi Naik Dalal and Jaden Gomes bagged singles titles. The winners and runners-up bagged cash prizes and certificates.
President of Goa Table Tennis Association (GTTA) Vero Nunes was the chief guest and gave away the prizes in the presence of Vishnu Kolwalkar, secretary, GTTA; Prakash Volvotkar, chairman, ‘Insight’ and Norbert Fernandes, headmaster of Damodar English High School.
Earlier, Aniket Borkar welcomed and later proposed the vote of thanks.

Cadet girls (singles): Aalaya Arora bt Shivani Dhamapurkar 11-13, 11-7, 11-6, 11-9. Doubles: Vailancia Ferrao and Simran Kubal bt Arya Nadkarni and Alida D’Costa 11-3, 11-8, 11-8. Sub-Junior boys (singles): Jayden Gomes bt Atharv Nadkarni 11-6, 11-3, 11-6. Doubles: Jayden Gomes and Jayz Gomes bt Atharav Nadkarni and Aniket Naik 11-6, 11-7, 11-6.
