PANJIM: Princeton Rebello is the lone Goan player named in the 28-member probables for the Indian U-23 National team for the AFC U-23 Asian Cup 2022 Qualifiers.
The young Goan, who had earlier represented India in juniors, earned his first senior call for the camp.
“I am delighted with the news. But this is just the start. I want to break into the final squad and will give my best,” stated Princeton Rebello, who is currently in Kolkata with his club FC Goa.
Keeper Dheeraj and midfielder Amarjit Singh are the other two Gaurs called for the camp. Meanwhile Churchill Brothers’ Bryce Miranda, a former Gaur, also earned his maiden call after impressing for the Red Machines in the Ileague.
