PANJIM: Propedalerz Cycling Club will hold its 3rd annual Duathlon event ‘Vorrad 5:55’, a fun duathlon, on January 29, 2023.

Propedalerz Cycling Club is one of the oldest registered cycling clubs in Goa having contributed in the field for last several years.
Dr.Vishwajit Faldesai, president of Propedalerz Cycling club, stated that registrations will be opening shortly and that the club is looking forward to playing host to all cycling & running enthusiasts soon.
“We are all set to host its 3rd annual Duathlon event “Vorrad 5:55” – a fun duathlon on 29th January 2023,” he said.
He said that participants will begin from Benaulim beach and first cycle 55km along peaceful South Goa coastal roads before coming back to run a 2.5 or 5km beach run! The end point at the “Your Story” beach shack will have a delightful breakfast for all!
As with the previous editions, which saw 200 plus participants in 2022, this one aims to draw a larger number as well as provide the required facilities from ample parking and security to washrooms, hydration, music and a sumptuous breakfast.
Vorrad 5:55 was conceptualised with the aim of introducing cyclists to running and runners to cycling as the benefits of cross training are tremendous! Hence a straightforward scenic cycling route has been maintained and an easy 2.5 or 5km beach run can be selected based on one’s abilities.
