PY Nuvem started the match on an attacking note and almost scored the opener in the very 3rd minute when Jerose Olivera’s effort was brilliantly saved by Fatorda keeper Melcom, who dived full length to punch the ball for the corner. However, in the resultant corner kick, Nuvem were denied their second chance when Neves’ header hit the crossbar.
In the 7th minute, Fatorda were denied by Nuvem keeper Joel when he parried away Craston’s volley off Jason’s cross.
Fatorda nearly opened the score sheet in the 12th minute but Francis’s long range effort was brilliantly saved by Nuvem keeper.
Crossing ends, both teams enjoyed equal ball possession but failed to convert their chances as the keepers were outstanding at either sides.
First Melcom denied Nuvem’s Neves with a smart save before pulling off a brilliant save to deny Jerose.
At other end, Fatorda attacked through Jason, but his shot was saved by the keeper.
In the tie-breaker, Nuvem scored through Joe Vaz, Jerose Oliveira, Inacio Colaco, Gammy Costa and Neves Norohna while DBO Fatorda scored through Francis Andrade, Roque Borges and Craston Araujo.

Earlier SESA Academy player Aaren D’Silva was felicitated with a scholarship for his excellence in the beautiful game. Evencio Quadros (Chairman of Quadros Co) was the chief guest for the finals while Rajesh Verenkar (Chairman of Ponda First), Gous Mohamed (prop of Civilco Engineering), Kedar Naik (Manager of NKGSB Bank) and Nevio Pires (Prop Alletta Nestle Agency) were also present for the finals.
