PANJIM: Parish Youth, Nuvem scored a hard fought 2-0 win over hosts Goa Velha Sports Club to move in the quarter-finals of 10th London Trophy, at Goa Velha Sports Club ground, on Saturday.
Jerose Oliveira of Parish Youth, Nuvem was set up by Jose Colaco but the former failed to control and was dispossessed by Suresh Thapa.
Newton Pereira of Goa Velha Sports Club had a try at the Nuvem goal but the Nuvem keeper Mceugene Fernandes fisted away the ball for an abortive corner. Markal Moraes of Goa Velha Sports Club ran down the right flank and set up Chatur Naik, who headed over the goal.
Inacio Colaco of Parish Youth, Nuvem ran for a return ball from Albino Pereira but was tackled in time by Melroy D’Silva. There was no score at half time.

Vishant Pednekar had a glorious chance to equalize but his 30-yard free-kick was saved by the Nuvem keeper.
Stephen Colaco put the issue beyond doubt and sealed victory for Parish Youth Nuvem when he placed the ball past Joseph Rodrigues in the Goa Velha goal.
At the end of the match, Vishant Pednekar was once again unlucky as his effort hit the upright and the ball fell back into play.
