MARGAO: A brace by striker Francis Colaco another by Schubert Borges and substitute Aloysius Fernandes enabled PY Nuvem to register a fluent 4-1 win against SCC Loutolim to enter the quarterfinals of the Fr. Basilio Andrade Memorial football tournament, at Musson ground, Majorda.
PY Nuvem who were in top form took the lead in the seventh minute when Joywin Costa sped down on the left flank and gave a measured cross to Schubert Borges who shot the ball into the Loutolim net.
SCC Loutolim thereafter organised their game plan and Flager Morares sent a scorching shot that crashed into the corner of the net in the 15th minute.
Coming on the ground, after the lemon break, in a nice build up move from the middle, Nuvem made it 2-1 in the 53rd minute through a goal scored by Francis Colaco. Francis Colaco once again did not show mercy and increased the lead in the 54th minute from an assist by veteran Nicolau Colaco to complete his brace.
