CALANGUTE: Raia Sporting Club routed Adarsh Yuvak Sangh, Saligao 7-0 to move into quarter-finals of all-Goa inter-village Nerul soccer 2013, organised by Nerul Sports Club, at Nerul ground, Friday.
Dominating the proceedings, Raia forged ahead in the 10th minute through Johnny D’Cruz who scored off Remedios through pass. Allwyn D’Souza doubled the score in the 20th off Joyston Barbosa move.
Changing over, Raia kept attacking the rival citadel and found the net again in the 37th minute through Remedios Pango. Johnny D’Cruz made it 4-0 in the 39th minute.
Remedios found the net again in the 45th minute of play to give his team a comfortable lead of five goals. Joyston Barbosa made it 6-0 in the 50th minute while Seby Cardozo completed the tally in the dying minutes of play.
