PANJIM: The 5th annual (half) marathon will be held on February 17 (Sunday) at Wadi, Talaulim, Ponda, at 6 p.m. from Wadi (via Ponda-Durbhat route). The main marathon will be flagged off at 6 a.m. The main marathon will be from Wadi to Ponda and back, Wadi to Durbhat and back. For males above 15 years, for females above 15 years, senior citizens, children below 15 years ( male and female).
The marathon coincides with the celebration of Platinum Jubilee of Dr PS Ramani, neuro -spinal surgeon. He is completing 75 years and has recently participated in Mumbai Marathon.
Rs 10,000 for winners in male and female categories for main marathon and other cash awards will be awarded.
