CHANDOR: Red Box Nuvem defeated Maina 5-2 to move into the quarter-finals of the15th All-Goa Seamen football tournament, at Villa Marex ground, Chandor, on Wednesday.
It was Henry of Maina who opened the account in the second minute with a placement shot than within twelve minutes while Xavier equalised for Nuvem.
As the match progressed Jason netted the second for Maina in the 24th minute but the joy was shortlived as Nuvem levelled terms through Prisco.
In the 37th minute Xavier scored his brace and 3-2 for Nuvem.
Later, Prisco netted two more goals for Nuvem in the 56th and 60th minutes respectively.
