LOUTOLIM: River Bank Rassaim got the better of Born to Win, Vanxem 4-1 to move into the final of the 18th Swayal Cup match, played at Saviour of the World Church ground, Loutolim, on Sunday.
Vanxem took the lead early in the game through Hanson in the 6th minute but Rassaim equalised in the tenth minute through Hegon.
Rassaim netted another 3 goals through Hegon and Revlon who netted a brace in the 16th, 20th and 34th minutes respectively to take the final tally to 4-1 in favour of Rassaim.
In the second match, Devotte Sporting Club shot-out Vanxem Boys 7-6 via the tie-breaker.
Devotte took the lead through Caje but Vanxem equalised quickly through Kevin in the 14th minute.
In the second half Leslie scored for Devotte by the header from a corner-kick in the 47th minute but the joy was short-lived as Kevin equalised for Vanxem Boys with a fast counter attack in the 50th minute.
In the tie-breaker, Leslie, Kigo, Hiljoy, Shawn and Cajie scored for Devotte while Vicky, Kevin, Wilson and Paul scored for Vanxem Boys.
River Bank Rassaim will now meet Devotte Sporting Club in the final on August 15.
