PANJIM: A four-goal blitz from Rohan Yadav helped Cortalim Villagers register a thumping 7-0 win over United Club of Telaulim in the Goa Football Association U-16 League at Astro Turf ground, Fatorda on Tuesday.
Rohan was highlight of the day as the lad was outstanding for his side not only scoring but also initiating and creating some good moves in the game. Rohan completed his hat trick at the half hour mark after scoring his first in the 10th minute and doubling it in the 12th minutes.
The winners led 3-0 at the break.
In the second half, Cortalim continued from where they had left from and scored their fourth once again through Rohan in the 43rd minute.
Lesley scored the team’s fifth goal before Shubham Singh and Princeston Gama added a goal each.
Meanwhile at Dando ground, Benaulim, Betalbatim SC defeated Rumdamol Sporting Club 4-1.
Betalbatim SC were clearly the dominating side between the two,
Selwyn Soares and Kevin Carvalho scored a double each for the winners while Mason Niasso pulled a goal back for the losing side.
