FATORDA: Rosary College defeated Goa Multi Faculty 6-1 in third quarter-finals match of the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs inter-college futsal tournament, organised by Futsal Association of Goa (FAG) at Don Bosco Oratory court, Fatorda, on Thursday.
Ronaldo Pereira and Sevelon scored a brace while Dawson and Stalin netted a goal each for the winning team. Pankaj scored the lone goal for Multi Faculty.
In another match, Nirmala IE were handed a sound thrashing by Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda with a 7-0 score-line.
There were five different scorers with Joel and Hanson scoring a brace each for the Fatorda side while Alister, Kenneth and Lester scored a goal each. Don Bosco College Panjim will lock horns with MES College of Commerce and Arts in the semi-finals while Rosary College will battle it out against Don Bosco College of Engineering in the second semi-finals.
