SERAULIM: Rossman Cruz, Nagoa-Verna defeated Santa Cruz Club of Cavelossim 2-1 to enter the final of the Village Panchayat Cup Seraulim, organised by United Sports Club Seraulim, at Seraulim Church ground, on Wednesday.
Cavelossim took the lead in the seventh minute through Christbern. The Verna team regrouped and pressed in search of the equaliser and managed to level terms in the 22nd minute through Ajoy.
Crossing ends, Verna team scored the match-winner in the 15th minute of the second half through Stephen.
Cavelossim tried to get back into the game but Alex missed the target from the goal mouth.
