Anjuna edged past Holy Cross High School, Bastora 2-1 to move ahead in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Trophy Under-16 boys inter-school football tournament, at Tembi ground, Anjuna, on Monday. Nisheket Karapurkar gave Holy Cross HS the lead in the fifth minute but Sacred Heart HS skipper Aldrich D’Souza equalized while Hanumanth Lamani scored the all-important second goal.
