CURCHOREM: Staff of Sports Authority of Goa of Curchorem Complex got the better of Staff of Guardian Angel Educational Complex by 95 runs to clinch T20 Cricket Trophy organized by Sports Department of Guardian Angel School at SAG ground, Curchorem, Tuesday.

SAG received the winner’s trophy from chief guest Siddhant Shirodkar, Police Inspector of Curchorem Police Station in the presence of Fr Walter Miranda, Fr Frank Mendes and other dignitaries.
SAG batted first and scored 162/8. Nilesh Naik (29), Abhnay Sawadker (13), Sanjay Shetker (8), Nilesh Volvoikar (54), Rupesh Dessai (10), Purnand Gaonkar (1), Prashant Velip (2).
In reply, Guardian Angel bundled out for a meager 67. Noel Faleiro (9), Avinash Talwar (4), Sagar Gosavi (6), Arvind Chawan (2), Anthony (4), Fr Henry (12), Joaquim Fernandes (2), Sanjay Naik (5).
