Sai Avtar squeeze past Saligao United

PANJIM, APRIL 24 
Sai Avtar, Anjuna defeated Saligao United Club 4-1 via the sudden-death tie-breaker in 13th Holy Cross inter-village soccer tournament organised by Holy Cross Sports Club, Vodlemoll-Kakoda at Vodlemoll ground on Saturday.
The teams started off with good attacking football, but Saligao dominated the attack and missed a number of golden opportunities.
In the second half, Saligao continued in the same vein but their strikers could not find the net. Anjuna created many opportunities but found it difficult to get past the Saligao defence. At the end of full time the score board was blank. 
In the resulting tie-breaker, Vinayak Mulgaonkar, Shekar Kerkar, Joao Pinto and Thomas Colacco found the net for Anjuna.  For Saligao, Trevor Dias was the only scorer.]
