SAI-STC selection trials

PANJIM, JAN 15
The Sports Authority of India (SAI), Sports Training Centre, Ponda will conduct selection trials for new induction of residential trainees in football, judo, boxing and taekwondo for boys from January 17 to 19 at sports complex, Curti-Ponda.
Boys in the age group of 14 to 18 years are eligible. Trainees who have secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions at the international, national, state and district level are eligible.
Selected trainees will be provided free boarding of Rs. 125 per day, free lodging, accidental insurance cover, limited medical allowance, education allowance of Rs. 1,000 and sports kit worth Rs. 4,000.
Eligible trainees may report to the center-in-charge, SAI STC, Curti-Ponda at 9 a.m. on January 17 with kit, four photographs, original birth certificate and sports participation certificates alongwith attested photocopies. 
Admission forms may be collected from GFA office in Panjim and Margao from Dinesh Desai (asst Stadium manager) Fatorda, Bruno Coutinho, (SAG joint director, coaching),  Indoor Stadium, Campal, Anant R Desai (DSYA assistant director), Campal, center in charge, STC Peddem, Youth Hostel, Mapusa and centre-in-charge, STC, sports complex, Ponda.
