DULER: Salgaocar FC scored a narrow 1-0 win over Corps of Signals in the Goa Football Association’s Goa Pro League match, played at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Saturday.
The match was evenly contested as the teams missed a couple of chances at the rival goals.
Post resumption, Salgaocar FC held the upper hand in the match and constantly troubled the rival keeper as they raised Corps of Signals’ citadel time and again in search of a goal.
Their hard work was finally rewarded in the 76th minute as Devendra Murgaonkar netted the solitary goal of the match to give his team full points.
