Salgaocar held slight edge over their rivals in the first session and got the first opportunity in the 17th minute but Seby Vaz headed over the cross bar.
Nuvem also got a chance but striker Brian Diniz shot was saved by Salgaocar keeper Virender Singh.
Post resumption, Nuvem dominated the match and almost secured the crucial goal, however captain Marcus Carvalho, after dribbling past rival defender Anthony Mathos struck a right footer which hit the upright.
In the marathon tie-breaker, Salgaocar converted through Mario Soares, Alfred Fernandes, Atul Naik, Mahesh Lotlikar, Inacio Viegas, Steve Furtado, Virender Singh and Baptista D’Mello while Brian Diniz, Caetano Fernandes, Luis Cardozo, Johnson Abranches, Seby Furtado, Milagres Fernandes and Remedious Fernandes netted for Marc Caterers Nuvem.
