Saligao began the match attackingly but Trevor Dias shot straight into the hands of waiting rival keeper Chetan Vengurlekar.
Changing over, Amar Haldankar broke the deadlock for Saligao after heading off a flag-kick taken by Trevor in the 45th minute.
Subsequently, Cliffton D’Souza doubled the advantage off an assist by Agnelo Quadros.
