MARGAO: Ambelim SC humbled Union of Chinchinim Villagers 4-0 to move into the quarters of the 6th Lady of Fatima Cup Football tournament, organized by Dicarpale Sports Club at Dicarpale ground, on Tuesday.
Ambelim SC could have taken the lead in the very second minute but Samson Simoes’ effort was locked by the rival defender.
Samson put them ahead in the 20th minute and secured his brace in the 28th minute with a free-kick.
Changing over, Ambelim SC continued their domination and Samson secured his hat-trick with a deft placement off an assist by Lyndon D’Silva in the 40th minute.
In the dying minutes, Samson secured his fourth goal with a powerful shot.
