CURTORIM: Sao Jose de Areal shot-out Cuncolim Union 7-4 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of the Wilred Leisure Soccer Cup football tournament organised by Wilred Leisure SC,Curtorim, at St Alex church ground, Curtorim, on Wednesday.
Trgacy Dias opened the account for Cuncolim with a snap shot in the 6th minute. Five minutes later, Frazey Fernandes doubled the lead for Cuncolim.
At the other end, Areal through Daryl Costa netted a hat-trick in the 16th, 24th and 35th minutes. Frazey Fernandes levelled terms for Cuncolim in the 55th minute.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Areal netted through Raymond Fernandes, Jeston Fernandes, Daryl Costa and Alston Camotio while Frazey Fernandes scored for Cuncolim.
