MARGAO: Sao Jose de Areal SC emerged victorious with a commanding 2-0 win over Ambelim SC, securing their place in the semifinal, to play against Uguem Rising Club of the 19th Uguem Rising Club Golden Jubilee soccer 2023. First half remained goalless.
In the second half, Dresden Viegas of Areal scored the first goal in the 36 minute. Ambelim SC tried their level best to equalise but in vain.
Ariel again came strongly and scored their second through Frazer Viegas in the 60th minute.
Dresden Viegas received the man-of-the-match trophy at the hand of Anthony Colaco, ex-president and player of Uguem Rising Club.
