MAPUSA: Sarvodaya Royals thrashed Chowgule Warriors by 68 runs in 4th Yes Bank GPL T-20 cricket tournament at GCA ground, Porvorim, Thursday.
Batting first, Sarvodaya piled up a massive 189 for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs thanks to a blistering 75 by Shivakant Shukla and Saurabh Bandekar’s handy 48. Their partnership worth 127 runs steadied the innings after they lost their first wicket without registering any run on the scoreboard. Dhanraj Singh picked up three wickets for Chowgule.

In reply, Chowgule started strongly with opener Suraj Dongre scoring a brisk 56 but Darshan Misal changed the complexion of the game snaring four important wickets.
