AGASSAIM: Sateri Sports Club thrashed Merces Sports Club 10-0 in the GFA Second Division League, played at Agaissaim ground on Thursday.
The Sateri side started the game on a bright note and went all out in attack. Seby Fernandes scored the first goal in the 11th minute only. Chetan Vernekar doubled the sides lead in the 27th minute as his shot eased past the rival keeper and landed straight into the nets.
Sent Fernandes made it 3-0 in favor of the Sateri side just before half time as they went into the break with a comfortable lead.
In the second half, Nilesh Murgaokar made it 4-0 while later Sent Fernandes went on to complete his hat trick post the hour mark.
Vilas Bandodkar added two more goals in favor of the Sateri side in the 68th and 75th minute.
Atish Bandodkar added his name too on the score sheet for the winners with a neat goal in the 80th minute.
Vilas Bandodkar completed his hat trick while Seby Fernandes added another as the Sateri side scored 10 past a blank Merces team.
