FATORDA: Chinchinim Veterans defeated Jose Cookies Veterans Camorlim, Fulsabhat 1-0 to move into the quarter-finals of the 1st All-Goa Veterans tournament, played at Don Bosco ground, Fatorda, on Thursday.
Seby Vaz netted the match winner for Chinchinim Veterans with a net placement shot
off Marcelino Pinto’s assist in the 14th minute.
Jose Cookies Veterans tried to equalise through Augustine Cardozo and Joao Pedro but Chinchinim’s Urbano Fernandes tackled both the moves in the 48th and 50th minutes respectively.
