MARGAO: The King’s School girls defeated Sharvodaya School Quepem to emerge District level cricket champs.
Sharvodaya School won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 54 run for the loss of eight wickets in 15 overs. The King’s School girls Ibtisam Shaikh, Anushree Krutika and Shabnam took two wickets each.
Later, The King’s school in the chase scored the target of 55 runs in just eight overs without losing a single wicket.
Ibtisam Shaikh scored 30 runs not out while Anita scored 10 runs not out thereby assisting the school in being crowned as winners of the District level final.
