SAO JOSE DE AREAL: SC Davorlim shot-out Chandor Club 4-3 via the tie-breaker to move into the semi- finals of the 37th Sao Jose de Areal Panchayat Cup organised by Sao Jose de Areal SC, at Padribhat Sao Jose de Areal ground, on Tuesday.
Chandor Club opened the account through Irfan Edward with a powerful shot in the 40th minute off Sidney Vaz’s assist.
Ten minutes later, Ryan Furtado equalised for Davorlim with a snap shot off Paxton Gomes’ assist.
In the resultant tie-breaker, SC Davorlim netted through Agnelo Colaco, Valmiki Miranda and Mabel Miranda while Darren Fernandes and Akram Edward scored for Chandor Club.
