VIRABHAT-CURTORIM: SC Davorlim moved into quarter-finals of the Curtoim Panchayat Cup after defeating Uguem Rising 7-6 via the tie-breaker, organised by Curtorim Gymkhana, at DSYA ground, Curtorim, on Saturday.
Uguem scored the first goal in the 16th minute through Cleward Pereira but the joy was short-lived as within five minutes Joemack Colaco equalised for Davorlim.
In second half, Davorlim doubled the lead in the 48th minute through Mack Borges to make 2-1.
As the match progressed, in the 67th minute, Uguem levelled terms through Lawren Fernandes to make it 2-2.
In tie-breaker, SC Doverlim netted through Paxton, Rayan, Stanly, Mack and Venson, while Handlee, Jerry, Lawren and Etalio scored for Uguem.
