MANORA: SC Davorlim scored a solitary goal victory over Cuncolim Union to move into the semi-finals of Manora Youth Cup organised by Manora Youth Club, at Manora ground, Raia.
SC Davorlim had the first go through Ashikesh Shetty, who ran down with the ball inside the box of Cuncolim Union in the very 2nd minute after Sunny Viegas rolled the ball to him, however, Deepak Velip of Cuncolim Union tackled his move.
Cuncolim Union with the combine move of Frazier Fernandes and Edny Fernandes should have earned a dividend in the 10th minute but Ryan Furtado of SC Davorlim thwarted the move in the 24th minute.

Ashikesh took control of the ball in the rival territory and released his arrow bond shot which directly hit the goalpost of Cuncolim Union and went out of play.
Deepak Velip tried a solo effort for Cuncolim Union but the slow and powerless effort was easily saved by the rival goalkeeper in the 40th minute.
As the match progressed, SC Davorlim took the desired lead as Ryan Furtado sent a well-measured ball to Ashikesh who off a fine header scored the solitary goal and the match winner for SC Davorlim in the 47th minute.
