UNJIRIM-CURTORIM: Sporting Club of Virabhat defeated Corjem Sports Club 2-0 to advance into the semifinals of United Club of Unjirim Inter-ward football tournament organised by United Club of Unjirim at St Alex Curtorim church ground on Monday. Ryce Fernandes of SC Virabhat scored both the goals in the 15th and 28th minutes. Corjem tried hard to equalize but their strikers missed some easy sitters.
Ryce was adjudged man-of-the-match.
