SAO JOSE DE AREAL: SCR Galli blanked United Boys Nessai 1-0 to move into the semi-finals of the 17th Areal inter-ward football tournament organised by Holy Cross Association, Mugalli, at Padribhat ground, on Monday.
SCR Galli through Alvit Moura missed the best chance of the match in the tenth minute. It took 25 minutes for SCR Galli to score the winning goal of the match through Sandroy Costa’s volley.
At the other end, Nessai through Hasten Dias should have equalised in the 30th minute but the latter’s shot hit the SCR cross bar and went out of play.
