In the girl’s event, hosts St Cajetan Parish Youth defeated Grace Parish Youth, Bicholim via the tie-breaker.
The winners were awarded Rs 5,000 while the runners-up took home Rs 3,000.
Juliana Gurjao, Deputy Director of DSYA kicked-off the tournament. Chief guest Dr Rufino Monteiro, chairman of GFDC gave away the prizes in the presence of guest of honour Fr Walter D’Sa, Principal of St Xavier College, Mapusa.
Cybil D’Souza, treasurer welcomed. Jean D’Costa, President and Michelle D’Souza, secretary proposed the vote of thanks. In all, 22 parishes participated.
