Shailendra clocked 1 hour 17 minutes and 27 second to cover the distance and bagged a cash prize of Rs 10,000 while Virinder of 6TTR, Pratap Kumar of 5TTR, secured the second and third place respectively. They received Rs 7,000 and Rs 3,000 each respectively.
Earlier, Velim MLA Benjamin Silva flagged of the race.Mario Moraes, Technical official of Athletic Federation of India and former Bombay University Gold medalist was the chief guest and gave away the prizes in the presence of Capt Manmohan Singh of 3MTR and other dignitaries.
