RAIA: Corps of Signals and Panchwadi United SC played out a 1-1 draw in the GFA’s First Division Football League match, here, on Sunday.
A goalkeeping error by Corps of Signals in the 12th minute cost them dearly as Salam Singh’s clearance saw the ball entering his own goal and the custodian fumbled.
At the other end, a set piece worked out by Harsha Thobe saw Pawan equalizing in the 44th minute for Corps of Signals.
Post resumption, Panchwadi United put up a good show but their strikers could not capitalize.
Same was the fate of the rival strikers.
