CALANGUTE: Football Club of Siolim beat Vagator Parish Youth Sports Club 2-1 to enter the semi-finals of St Anthony’s Cup football organized by St Anthony’s Sports Club, Marna, at church ground, Siolim, Monday.
Siolim got off to a perfect start scoring in the third minute through Rakesh. Down by a goal, Vagator forwards tried to undo the damage but were found wanting in front of the goal.
Siolim doubled the lead in the 20th minute through Pushparaj. Myron pulled on back for Vagator.
