PANJIM: Six players took the lead with three points from three rounds at the end of the third round of State senior championship rated chess tournament at Fontainhas, here, Thursday.
They are Mandar Lad, Devesh Naik, Aarav Chopdekar, Saras Powar, Shubh Borkar and Rishikesh Parab.
Results : Mandar Lad beat Anish Naik, Devesh Naik beat Rajveer Patil, Ayush Shirodkar lost to Saras Powar, Aarav Chopdekar beat Aryan Naik, G Madhavan drew with Chaitanya Gaonkar, Gomes Soloman lost to Ridhikesh Parab, Ekka Aniket lost to Shubh Borkar.
G Madhvan, Kavish Gharse, Hriday Morajkar, Aaryavrat Naik Desai, and Arya Dublay are on 2.5 points each in second position.
