DRAMAPUR: Sao Jose de Areal SC defeated SCC Loutolim 5-2 via the tie-breaker to enter the quarter-finals of the Dramapur Summer Cup, organized by Dramapur SC, at Dramapur ground, on Saturday.
Areal’s Russel Viegas had a chance to score in the 7th minute but shot wide.
Thereafter, SCC Loutolim’s Frazier Cardozo saw his header miss the target in the 10th minute.
Crossing over, David Colaco broke the deadlock in the 31st minute for Areal with a rasping shot off a supply by Aggie Antao. Thereafter, SCC Loutoulim equalized through Stevan Fernandes in the 37th minute.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Areal netted through Russel Viegas, Aggie Antao, Daryl Colaco, Aliston Camatio while SCC Loutolim only netted through Frazier Cardoza.
